Dr. Alicia Martin, widely known as #DataDivaDoc, is a national data strategist and the founder of DWG Educate & Serve LLC. With more than 20 years of experience in data-informed leadership and organizational growth, she helps leaders turn information into action that drives measurable results.
Dr. Martin served as Director of Assessment Strategy for one of the largest and most diverse school districts in Texas, where she led system-wide efforts to strengthen data use, assessment literacy, and leadership capacity. Her work has helped transform struggling campuses into models of success by equipping teams to make confident, purposeful decisions grounded in evidence and equity.
Inspired by the legacy of her father, Darryl Wayne Garrett (DWG), Dr. Martin founded DWG Educate & Serve LLC to honor his lifelong commitment to service and justice. Through the DWG Framework (Discover → Work → Grow) she empowers educators, nonprofits, and organizations nation-wide to move from numbers to next steps and lead with clarity and purpose.
